The plant has a state of the art unloading system to size, sort and grade numerous species. The plant handles all fresh and frozen seafood products specializing in groundfish, rockfish, sole, cod, hake, turbot, halibut, all salmon species and roe herring. The port of Steveston is located in Richmond, a suburb of Vancouver, and was once the largest canning and commercial fishing port in British Columbia.
